This week, I'm tackling a question many of you have asked: “Using Food as an Emotional Crutch.” For years, I never fully grasped how intertwined our emotions are with our eating habits. Whether you tend to overeat, undereat, eat mindlessly or are deeply aware of every bite, emotions undeniably drive our food decisions. Yet, the way we talk about food has become overly simplified and reductionist. What do I mean by this? We often hear that following a simple dietary formula should lead to perfect health. But if it were that simple, wouldn't we all be thriving?
